Super Bowl, AI, and the Next Revolution

artificial intelligence Feb 10, 2025

The Eagles just won the Super Bowl!

But first, let’s talk about what really happened Sunday night…

Because beyond the touchdowns and celebrations, something HUGE was unfolding.

AI Is Here

Two of the biggest AI companies in the world—OpenAI and Google

Spent over $10 million combined just to tell you one thing…

AI is here. The world is evolving.

And if you don’t start using AI in your business, you’re already behind.

The Evolution of Real Estate

Think about how real estate has evolved.

Decades ago, agents knocked on doors and made cold calls. Then, computers changed everything.

The internet made marketing easier. Social media gave agents unlimited reach.

Now, we’re stepping into the next revolution—AI. And the top agents already know it.

Let's Talk About the Open AI Ad

Their ad started off with a pixel splitting into two, then 4,

And then a caveman chasing another with a spear.

They took us through a timeline of human history, highlighting some of the best inventions

  • Creating a fire
  • Creating a wheel
  • Going from agriculture to the industrial revolution
  • The evolution of TV

They end the ad by saying "All progress has a starting point"

Then transition to a clip of ChatGPT's advanced voice mode asking "What do you want to create next?"

If you check their ad on YouTube, in the description it says

"Every idea, every breakthrough, every leap forward—begins with a single starting point. What will you create next?"

So what are they trying to get at?

I think Open AI is trying to position ChatGPT as the ultimate tool help you become more creative

A tool that can help you with almost anything your mind can think of

Now Let's Talk About Google's Ad for Gemini

They had 2 different ads

For those who don't know, Gemini is kinda like ChatGPT for Google

In Google's first ad they showcased the new Pixel 9 phone that has Gemini built in

The ad showed a man who was using Gemini to prepare for an upcoming interview

It then takes us through a timeline of when he became a dad and all the life lessons he learned from parenting

The ad itself is called "Dream Job"

So they're positioning Gemini as an AI tool that'll help you advance in your career and bring out the best in you

In Google's second ad they showcased how ChatGPT can help you in social settings

A guy was going to watch a football game with his family but didn't know anything about football

So he used Gemini to make it seem like he knew what he was talking about and fit in

AI Makes Us More Human

But the secret underlying message in both of Google's ads is that AI makes us more human

Parenting and gathering to watch sports are two things that makes us human

Most people think of AI as robotic and tehcnical

Google broke down that myth and showed how AI can enrich our lives and make us "more" human

They tied Gemini to very personal memories that everyone watching the Super Bowl could relate to

Overall, both Open AI and Google did an amazing job with their ads

Final Thoughts

Anyways, what did you think of the game?

Did your team win? Did you make any bets?

I like Mahomes but I'm glad he didn't win.

I feel like once sports betting became viral with companies like Fan Duel,

The NFL feels kinda scripted

And as someone that used to play football, I just want to see some good football
