Information alone IS NOT sufficient
Oct 30, 20244 months after my first ChatGPT class I went to a conference.
A lot of the people from the class were there.
And I had close to 30-40 people say to me,
"Hey John, oh my goodness I loved your class on AI. I still haven't used any of it, but it was great."
Now my first thought was, "If you loved it, how come you didn't use any of it? Doesn't make much sense."
But instead of blaming them for not taking action, I decided to go back to the drawing board.
After surveying 100+ realtors, I decided to launch a course.
It went so well that I was able to quit my job and go all in on my business
One of the things I offered in the course was weekly power hours calls and what I noticed is that...
Even though the course was prerecorded,
The majority of people preferred to learn in a live group setting.
There were a lot of people who wanted to enroll in my course.
But because 2023 was such a tough market, a lot of people didn't have it in their budget to invest in the program.
I would do a few free trainings a year but that wasn't enough to get people into the habit of using AI.
Most people would attend my webinars, learn some cool stuff, and by the next day revert to their old ways.
I realized that if I wanted to make any real, lasting change I needed to expose them to AI repeatedly
The missing piece of the puzzle that I forgot to include was the same thing all humans crave deep down inside...
Connection.
Now I'll share more with you tomorrow, but for now...
I’d love to hear from you about this. Are you currently a part of any communities either personal or professional?
If so, how do they make you feel connected?
Hit reply and let me know, I’d love to hear from you!
Your AI Coach,
John Mendez
